” Isi waja se Imam Shafi’e (rta) ne kaha keh Sub log FIQH main IMAM ABU HANIFA (RTA) ki AULAD HAIN. or kaha ! Jo Shakhs Fiqh seekhna Chahy to usko Imam Abu Hanifa (rd) or unke Shagirdon ka daman pakarna chahiye. OR kaha keh ! Mene Imam Maalik (Rd) se pucha keh Ap ne Imam Abu Hanifa (Rd) ko kesa Paya? —- Bolay— Keh mene unko aisa Shakhs dekha keh agar wo is Satoon (pillar) ke bare main kalaam karen aur isko Sone ka hone ka dawaa karen to Zaror Dalil se Sabit Kar denge . Or Jub Imam Shafi’e (rd) Baghdaad Pohanche or Imam Abu Hanifa (rd) ki QABAR KI ZIYARAT KO GAY or WAHAN 2 RAKAT NAMAZ PARHI to Takbeer main Rafa- Yadain na Kiya. AUR aik RIVAYAT main hai keh WO SUBHA ki Namaz thi or us main Duaa’ e Qanoot naa Parhi to kisi ne uski Waja daryaaft ki —Bolay— IS IMAM K ADAB SE MENE NAA PARHA OR UNKE SAAMNE UNKI MUKHALIFAT KO RAWAA NA RAKHA —- AUR— FUDAIL BIN IYAD (RTA) ne kaha !!! Mujh ko unki Jalalat-e-Shaan k liye Yahi Kaafi hai keh Imam ABU HANIFA (RD) FIQAH MAIN MAAROOF OR PARHEZGAARI MAIN MASHOOR HAIN.”
Rough English Translation:
” For that reason, it was said by Imam Shafi’e (Rta) that all people are like Children of Imam Abu Hanifa (rd) in knowledge of Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence), and said! every person who wants to learn Fiqh, he has to follow the lineage of Imam Abu Hanifa (rd) and his Pupils. and said !! I asked from Imam Maalik (rd) that what you found about Imam Abu Hanifa (means how was he, his behaviour knowledge etc), He answered me!! I found him such kind of person that if he wants to say that this pillar is made up of Gold, by his evidences he can proof it. And when Imam Shafi’e (rd) reaches Baghdad, he visited the grave of Imam Abu Hanifa (rd) for Ziyara, he prayed 2 rakat there and he does not perform Raful-Yadain, in one narration it is been said that it was the Fajar prayer and he does not recite Dua-e-Qanoot, upon that someone ask reason (of not doing) he replied, I Just did not do that because of the RESPECT OF THIS GREAT IMAM, and i did not want to be his opposite in front of him. AND Fudail bin Iyad (rd) Said, “for me! its enough to admire the greatest personality and status of Imam Abu Hanifa (Rd) that, he is famous in Fiqah and famous in Piety”.

1) See the greatest words of Imam Shafie (rd) and Imam Maalik (Rd) about Imam al Azam Abu Hanifa (rd), This is total slap on Salafi face from the house of Real Salaf Saliheen.
2) Visiting to the Graves of Auliya and Pious people + Ordinary People also established by the act of Imam Shafie(Rd), Who visited the grave and prayed 2 rakat namaz near the grave. this is another Slap on the face of Wahhabism. Nobody can say that Imam Shafi’ was Barelvi or Sufi or whatever.
3) See The great Muhadith and Mujtahid like Imam Shafi’e (Rd) and Fudail bin Iyad (Rd)’s Respect for Imam al Azam (rd). Imam Shafi’e even respect his verdicts in front of his grave. This is another Slap on the face of Deviant Vahhabism.
Imam Ibn Hajr al-Makki al-Haythmi al-Shafi’i also wrote in refutation of Khateeb Baghdadi: (Chapter XXXIX:) Embed it in your mind that Maqsad of Khateeb was only to compile the sayings just like Historians gather all sayings about Imam (Abu Hanifa) according to their habit. Khateeb’s Maqsad is not to revile Imam Abu Hanifa nor to lower his status. The proof of this is that Khateeb has mentioned those people “WHO PRAISED IMAM ABU HANIFA” before showing negative viewpoints and he has “Written more before (i.e. Tadil is superseding Jirah)” and most of the Ahlul-Manaqib have relied upon Khateeb on “Merits of Imam (which he has mentioned before)” However after this Khateeb has mentioned sayings of Mukhalifeen so that it is clear that Imam (Abu Hanifa) was amongst those (great) people who have not been spared by the tongues of Hasideen and Ignorant folk!
Another proof is that the chains which Khatib has used in which there is insult of Imam, then most of them are “DISPUTED UPON AND MAJHOOL” We should remember that such Isnad (Chains of narration) cannot be permissible to use against Izzat of a Muslim, Plus there is foul language used for which there is no “IJMA” Hence how could it be Jaiz to use foul language against one of the (great) Imams. Shaykh ul Islam Imam Taqi Ibn Daqiq al-Eid has said: The Izzat of people are just like pits of hell fire and on it’s side are standing leaders and Muhaditheen (i.e. if they bash ulama then they will fall into the pit).
Even if we assume to be correct what Khateeb has mentioned from “INSULTERS” then still it is not worthy of taken reliable because the negative viewpoint if it does not come from people who are his followers then it definitely comes from people who are Muqalideen of his enemies who have written against him. Even if someone is from the same era of Imam Abu Hanifa still his accusation will not be valid because It has been mentioned before that aqwaal of people from same era is not acceptable regarding one another. Imam Dhahabi (rah) and Imam Ibn Hajr have explained this in detail and have said that: If it is proven that certain Jirah comes due to “ENVY OR OPPOSITION OF MADHAB” (then it is not accepted at all) because nobody is saved from “Hasad” except for one whom Allah saves. Imam Dhahabi has said: I have not seen such a time when people have remained safe from Hasad except for the time of Prophets and Sidiqeen [Khayrat al-Hisan Page No. 49]
NOTE: That which is mentioned in some books of Mukhalifeen regarding Imam of Imams, Siraj of Ummah the Greatest Imam (Imam al Azam) Abu Hanifa (rah), It is not acceptable by any means because Tadil of Imam Abu Hanifa is clear like a bright day. Regarding Jirah then Jirah of some Muhaditheen is “Mubaham (vague and unacceptable)” and Jirah of some is envious or extreme. Such Jirah as compared to Tadil is not acceptable at all.
